Working in the heart of the Sevenoaks community, you’ll be responsible for developing the work of the Empowering Communities programme. By harnessing your communication skills you’ll look to encourage a broader ownership of the engagement amongst local residents, businesses, and community groups. 

Your experience and understanding of working in the community and project management will guide you in encouraging a greater interaction between the Council and the community, ensuring that to ensure that local residents are more involved and help communities grow.

You’ll attend community meeting across the district (including evening meetings) and be comfortable working in partnership with a variety of different agencies.

Please note that this a part time role (30 hours per week) and fixed term contract until 31st March 2025.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office and home working.
