Keep our District Safe!

With your expertise in environmental health law, you’ll be responsible for food hygiene, public health, and health & safety across the Sevenoaks District. You’ll assist with the development of policy and initiatives including the annual food service plan.

You’ll motivate and empower the Food & Safety team by providing advice and guidance to them, drawing on your expertise and experience of Food Hygiene, Infectious Disease Control, Health and Safety, Public Health and registration associated with the Beauty Sector. 

You’ll also keep abreast of all legislative changes and ensure that the team delivers all statutory functions to a high quality, ensuring a customer focused service.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
