Working closely with our Benefits Officers, you’ll process basic council tax reduction/housing benefit applications, provide administrative support to the team and a front line service to council tax reduction and housing benefit applicants.

You’ll deal with a variety of correspondence, answering queries and providing advice as well as ensuring that records are kept up to date. In addition to this you’ll build strong working relationships with other departments and external agencies to aid communication and a high quality service delivery. 

So, if you’re organised, have excellent communication skills and comfortable with deadlines and data input, then we would love to hear from you.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
