Our service ensures the safe collection of waste throughout the district. You’ll work as part of team and will be responsible for collecting garden waste.

You’ll be able to make decisions on what waste can be removed and have an awareness of manual handling as well as assisting the driver with risk assessments and working in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.

You’ll be comfortable working outside in all types of weather and be able to deal with the physical demands of the role (lifting heavy items and walking distances).

You’ll embrace the Council’s values of customer service at all times, displaying a polite and helpful attitude to all customers as well as communicating effectively with your crew.

This role is based at our Dunbrik Depot in Sundridge, working 37 hours per week with the possibility of overtime.
