Sevenoaks District Council

Working in our Clean & Green team, you’ll be responsible for operating one of our grab lorries for a variety of different waste clearances across the whole district. You’ll assist with responding to reactive flying-tipping clearance to help keep Sevenoaks clean and safe.

You’ll hold a minimum current C1 driving licence and the following lorry loader tickets:

  • D1 – Above 20tm Using Hook attachment
  • D+E – Remote
  • D4 – Above 20tm Clamshell

You’ll be comfortable working outside in all types of weather and be able to deal with the physical demands of the role (heavy lifting and the collection of waste and materials).

You’ll embrace the Council’s values of customer service at all times, displaying a polite and helpful attitude to all customers as well as communicating effectively with your supervisor.

This role is based at our Dunbrik Depot in Sundridge, working 37 hours per week with the possibility of overtime.
