Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of local people? This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Council's 'One You' health improvement service. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Team Leader to co-ordinate the One You Health Team, drive the West Kent Health partnership and deliver targeted healthy lifestyle interventions throughout the Sevenoaks District.
Working as part of an energetic and innovative Communities Team, you will support local people to make positive lifestyle, social and wellbeing changes to improve their overall quality of life. You will create essential links with other Council services such as housing advice, to deliver holistic services which addresses the causes of poor health and wellbeing.
You must have working knowledge and experience of delivering effective projects and partnerships within health related services, as you will co-ordinate essential partnerships with local health professionals and the voluntary sector. You will co-ordinate the team's group and 1:1 health and wellbeing assessments and follow ups to record and monitor outcomes. You will drive and inspire the team to deliver targeted outreach services on weight management, physical activity, healthy eating, smoke free and drink less, to improve the overall health and wellbeing of local people.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of understanding and addressing the needs of customers who can lead, influence and motivate others. Drive, creativity and strong communication skills are essential. You will be part of the exciting West Kent health partnership, which includes Sevenoaks District, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge & Malling, and with Kent County Council through the integrated 'One You Kent' service.
