You'll be experienced in working collaboratively with partners, and have the knowledge and ideas to reach all our communities to help us better understand and identify local aspirations and priorities. Importantly you'll be able to demonstrate that you can build community capacity.
There are two things we are aiming for. More community-led solutions that tackle priorities that matter most to local people and better outcomes and improved wellbeing for everyone.
We think this will be achieved through a more joined-up, collaborative and participative approach to services working with all sectors. But we want you and your ideas to help us make our vision a reality.
We'll give you the tools you need to do the job. The role will bring together all of the Council's housing functions alongside those for health and wellbeing. You'll also have responsibility for community development and community safety.
Our one team approach means that you'll have all of the co-operation you need from our Chief Officers to deliver on our ambitions.

The long-list interviews will include Council Officers. As a Chief Officer post the final interview will be with Councillors who sit on the Council’s Appointments Committee.
